BMW India has finally launched the BMW X6 M60i coupe SUV in the Indian market today, priced at Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV will be bought in India through the CBU route; pre-orders are already open. The company also offers an assured buyback of 60% after 3 years/10,000 km. The BMW X6 M60i is offered in six color options – Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. Upholstery is available in the standard version Sensafin with the option of Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black and Cognac.

Talking first about the powertrain, the new BMW X6 will be powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which delivers 530 hp and 750 Nm of torque. It gets 48V mild hybrid technology and comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. It also gets rear-wheel steering, adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential and an xDrive rear-wheel drive system. The coupe can accelerate from 0-100 in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.In terms of design, the new BMW X6 M60i gets updated styling while retaining the coupe-SUV form. The front end now features a revised illuminated kidney grille, slimmer adaptive LED headlights with new daytime running lights and a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes and gloss black inserts. The profile continues the sloping roofline that defines the X6, along with new alloy wheel designs and M-specific exterior elements. Sculpted body panels and a pronounced shoulder line maintain the SUV’s muscular stance.At the rear, BMW has revised the LED taillight graphics and updated the bumper with a larger exhaust and a diffuser-inspired design. The overall styling continues to combine luxury SUV proportions with a performance-oriented look.Moving inside, the BMW X6 M60i comes with a two-tone cabin and a layered dashboard design with BMW’s Curved Screen, which integrates a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, heating and memory functions, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and tire pressure monitoring system. The SUV also gets an advanced suite of driver assistance systems, while the Indian-spec model is expected to offer a similar equipment list.
