Honda Cars India has once again been spotted testing its upcoming electric SUV. Based on the Honda 0 Alpha concept, a camouflaged prototype was recently spotted in Manali, revealing its cabin in more detail than before. The latest spy shots show a large landscape-oriented infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster.
In the spy pictures, the interior of the SUV is visible through the driver’s window. A few interior touches include a large free-standing infotainment touchscreen in the center of the dashboard and a fully digital instrument panel located behind the steering wheel. The touchscreen is expected to feature Honda’s new user interface, and other expected features include wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car features, navigation and EV-specific features. Physical buttons for climate control and other functions can also be seen below. The steering wheel appears to have a new multi-functional design, while the dashboard has the minimalist styling seen on Honda’s global 0-series models.The Honda Alpha 0 was first unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Expo. Honda calls the Honda 0 Alpha concept “thin, light and wise,” and that philosophy is clearly reflected in its styling. The SUV has a wide, upright stance that gives it presence, while the sharply angled front windows and near-vertical rear windscreen stand out as key design features. The window line climbs upwards towards the rear, blending into a thick C-pillar that gives it a hint of MPV-like proportions, capped by a subtle roof spoiler.
Design-wise, at the front, the smooth grille features an illuminated Honda emblem and an integrated charging port, neatly flanked by sleek headlamp units. A bold lower bumper flows into muscular body cladding along the sides, where aero-styled 19-inch five-spoke alloys fill the flared wheel arches. At the rear, a wide U-shaped LED light bar frames the vertical glass, while a chunky faux skid plate on the bumper completes the rugged yet futuristic appeal.Both the front and back have large screen-like sections that integrate various functional elements. At the front, traditionally separate components – such as the headlights, the illuminated Honda badge and the charging port are neatly integrated within the display area. The rear continues this theme with a distinctive U-shaped light signature that joins the rear, reverse and turn signals.
