Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of the Dzire sedan in India, making most variants up to Rs 7,500 more expensive. The price update comes at a time when the Dzire continues to enjoy strong demand, after becoming the country’s best-selling car in 2025 with sales of around 2.14 million units.The entry-level Dzire remains unchanged from the latest revision and continues to be priced at Rs 6.25 lakh, ex-showroom. However, all other variants in the line have received a price increase.Among the assortment, CNG variants recorded the biggest increase. The VXi CNG and ZXi CNG kits are now more expensive by Rs 7,500. The VXi CNG, which was earlier available at Rs 8.03 lakh, is now priced at Rs 8.10 lakh, ex-showroom. Similarly, the ZXi CNG variant is now priced at Rs 9.11 lakh, up from its earlier price of Rs 9.03 lakh, ex-showroom.The petrol-powered VXi manual and AMT variants have been hiked by Rs 5,000. After the revision, the VXi MT costs Rs 7.22 lakh, while the VXi AMT now costs Rs 7.67 lakh, both ex-showroom. A similar increase of Rs 5,000 has been applied to the ZXi MT and ZXi AMT variants. These versions are now available at Rs 8.22 lakh and Rs 8.67 lakh, ex-showroom. The top-end ZXi+ trim has also gone up by Rs 5,000. The ZXi+ MT is now priced at Rs 8.91 lakh, while the AMT version is priced at Rs 9.36 lakh, ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine Specifications
Under the hood, the Dzire continues with Maruti Suzuki’s three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 80.46 hp and 111.7 Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. There is also a factory installed CNG version, where the same engine develops 68.79 HP and 101.8 Nm of torque.Efficiency remains one of the sedan’s biggest strengths. The petrol-powered Dzire delivers a claimed fuel economy of 24.79 kmpl, while the CNG variant offers 33.73 km/kg.
