Veteran cinematographer Dillip Ray, one of the most accomplished figures in the Odia film industry, has passed away at the age of 72 after a brief illness.Dilip Rai died at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Friday evening, PTI reported. Dillip Ray was born in Cuttack on July 27, 1954. He developed an interest in film photography at an early age. Pursuing his professional passion, he studied at the Film and Television Institute (FTI), Bangalore, where he received formal training in the craft.
