Ram Charan’s “Peddi” continued its run on day 24 but the film’s box office declined despite the weekend. Although the action movie has become one of the highest-grossing films of the year, more than three weeks after its theatrical release, its profits have entered a slowdown.Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s new album Maa Inti Bangaaram maintained its momentum in its second weekend.
“Peddi” fell 14% on the 24th day
According to Sacnilk estimates, “Peddi” made a net profit of 8 million rupees in India on the 24th day after its launch. The latest figure is down 14.0% compared to Day 23 revenue of Rs 9.3 million. The film played 939 times on its fourth Saturday. Currently, its net income in India is 239.1 billion rupees, while total revenue in India has reached 282.77 billion rupees.The Telugu version earned Rs 79 lakh, while the Hindi version added Rs 1 lakh.
The global box office gross reached Rs 3,356.7 crore
“Peddi” has currently accumulated sales of 529 million rupees in the international market. The film’s global box office collection has climbed to Rs 335.67 crore.The overall occupancy rate of the Telugu version was 25.06%, with the night show having the highest audience turnout of 27.22%.
‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ performs strongly in second weekend
While “Peddi” suffered another downturn, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Maa Inti Bangaaram” continued to attract audiences in its second weekend.According to Sacnilk estimates, the action comedy earned a net revenue of Rs 490 crore on its ninth day in India. The series grew 12.6% from the Rs 435 crore it collected on Day 8 of the film.The ninth-day performance took the film’s total net collection in India to Rs 429.5 crore, while its total India collection also rose to Rs 4,972 crore.
Global total climbs to Rs 715.7 crore
