Škoda Auto India today announced the introduction of two new colors in the Škoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition. Skoda will produce only 200 units of the Slavia Monte Carlo in the newly introduced color options. Despite the exclusive finish colors, the prices remain unchanged at Rs 16.69 to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can reserve a vehicle by visiting the nearest dealership or online; Deliveries are expected to begin soon. The two new colors are the two-tone Shimla Green and Steel Gray color schemes for the Slavia Monte Carlo, drawing inspiration from its Rallye Monte Carlo heritage. The sedan also comes with gloss-black exterior accents and 16-inch black alloy wheels, while the cabin adopts an all-black theme complemented by red accents. Apart from the addition of new exterior color options, no changes have been made to the Slavia Monte Carlo.
The sedan has two engine options – a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque and comes mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. The other engine is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque and comes mated only to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. In terms of features, it gets a 10-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Skoda Play apps, 8-inch digital driver display, ambient lighting, 8-speaker subwoofer – 200W, automatic climate control, rear air-conditioning vents, cooled glove box, wireless steering wheel for front seats, occupants and more. In terms of safety, it has six airbags, ABS with ESC and EBD, traction control, three-point belts for five passengers, tire pressure monitoring, ISOFIX anchors, rear parking sensors and more.
