Ashok Pathak and Durgesh KumarKnown for playing the roles of Binod and Bhushan in the popular web series. The actor said he never imagined a simple interaction would receive such widespread attention.Prime Minister Modi inscribed “A moment with Binod” in the film, which resonated with fans across the country.Talking about the experience, Ashok said, “For any Indian, there is a sense of immense pride when the Prime Minister appreciates your work. His enthusiasm in meeting us and subsequently sharing the video himself made the moment even more special. It feels great to see the audience’s love for Panchayat being recognized to such an extent.”

Although the interaction was brief due to the Prime Minister’s busy schedule, Ashok revealed that PM Modi immediately lightened the mood with a line that every Panchayat fan will recognize.“As soon as he saw us, he smiled and said, ‘Sun raha hai na Binod?’ Everyone started laughing,” shared Ashok.The actor said the meeting became even more meaningful because of what it meant to his family back home.“I come from a small village and my father was very happy when he learned that I was going to meet the prime minister. It was a proud and exciting moment for my whole family,” he said.
Ram Charan The compliments made the day even more special
Apart from meeting Prime Minister Modi, Ashok also had the opportunity to interact with actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela during the event.The actor revealed that the couple spoke passionately about Panchayat and expressed their admiration for the show.“Ram Charan and Upasana ji told me how much they enjoyed watching the Panchayat. Hearing it from their mouths was very special and made the experience even more memorable,” he said.Ashok also shared interesting behind-the-scenes details about Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddy, revealing that he has dubbed the Hindi dialogues of a character named Kulmaiya in the film.
