As of the time of reporting, the film has screened 2,687 times nationwide.
India’s net income reaches Rs 657.9 crore
The total net income of “Jana Nayagan” in India has reached 657.9 crore rupees. The film’s box office revenue in India also climbed to Rs 772.9 crore.The Tamil version netted Rs 186 crore from 1,574 live broadcasts. The Telugu version has earned Rs 3 lakh from 332 shows so far.The film grossed an impressive first-day net box office of Rs 427 million. The net box office collection on the second day was Rs 21.15 crore. These collections helped the film easily cross the Rs 50-crore net box office milestone in India in just two days after its release.
Global total remains above Rs 112 crore
“Jana Nayagan” has also achieved good results in overseas markets. By the end of the second day, the film’s international box office collection had reached Rs 3,750 crore.On the second day alone, total overseas revenue included Rs 10 crore. Including domestic releases, the film took the global box office to Rs 11,250 crore after two days of release.
Expected declines the day after big opening
After a huge performance on the first day, “Jana Nayagan” took a dip on Friday. According to Sacnilk, the film’s net collection on the second day was Rs 2,115 crore as against Rs 4,270 crore on its opening day. This represents a 50.5% drop in daily collections.The first weekend is still underway, and now all eyes are on whether Saturday night and Sunday’s highlights can boost the film’s momentum.
