What ETimes says about this movie

ETimes wrote in its review of Jana Nayagan: “Jana Nayagan, Vijay’s last film, was designed as a big-budget campaign vehicle for his star’s political ambitions, and while its certification issues may have led to its post-election release (Vijay didn’t actually need to release it to win the election), it speaks volumes about the power of his star.” It shows how stars can elevate the dullest script and make it passable.Disclaimer: The box office numbers and data in this article were obtained from public and industry sources.
