The trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power was revealed at Comic-Con
Amazon debuted the trailer during its Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, offering a first look at what creators JD Payne and Patrick McKay describe as the series’ “final, dark chapter.” The film opens with lightning striking Barad-dur and Vickers’ Sauron declaring, “Now has come the great hour,” signaling the Dark Lord’s growing power in Mordor.

In this clip, Sauron continues his evil plans while his armies prepare for all-out war with the armies of Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Wizards. However, the most dramatic moment comes when Galadriel reunites with her long-lost husband Celeborn. The trailer even includes a flashback of their first meeting and a romantic dance sequence, adding an unexpected note of tenderness amid the impending doom. Ball joins the cast as Celeborn, the elf lord, Galadriel’s husband and noble warrior against Sauron.Season 3 will also introduce the early forms of the Nazgul (here called Nazgul), giving viewers a glimpse into what the corrupted Nazgul wielders looked like before they became the infamous Nazgul.
‘Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power’ new cast
Several new cast members were announced during a Hall H panel moderated by Benjamin Walker, who plays High King Gil-galad. Eddie Marsan will play Tulane, the older brother of King Durin IV. Andrew Richardson plays Anárion, the youngest son of Elendil and brother of Isildur; Adam Young will play Marnûkh, a mysterious orc who “may not be who he seems”; Simon Pegg Just like the voice of the Balrog.

Prime Video also released the official synopsis for the new season, “In Season 3, Middle-earth is at war. It has been five years since the fall of Eregion. Sauron’s armies have swept across the world, conquering everything in their path. Only a few isolated areas stand between the Dark Lord and complete victory – Khazad-dûm, where the dwarves are now sealed deep in the mountain hall, and the elven kingdoms of Lindon and Rivendell, protected by the Three Rings. The third season of The Lord of the Rings: Ring of Power will premiere on Prime Video on November 11. The release schedule is staggered, with the first four episodes released together on November 11, episodes five and six on November 18, and the final two episodes on November 25.
