The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the May 2026 CA Intermediate exam results, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates across the country. Along with the results, the institute also announced the list of top holders.Shardul Shekhar Vichare from Dombivli, Maharashtra emerged as the first in the country and secured the first position in the All India Ranking (AIR) with 531 points out of 600 points. He scored 88.50% in the exam. Abhinav Satheesh secured AIR 2 with 530 points or 88.33%, while Teerth Jain secured AIR 3 with 519 points and 86.50%.Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their scorecards through the official ICAI result portal caresults.icai.org by entering their registration number and roll number.This result is an important milestone for those aspiring to become Chartered Accountants. Candidates who have passed the Intermediate Level can now proceed with practical training and eventually qualify to appear for the CA Final Examination.The CA Intermediate Examination will be conducted from May 5 to May 15, 2026. The first set of exam papers will be held on May 5, 7 and 9, and the second set of exams will be held on May 11, 13 and 15. Candidates can choose to participate in one or two groups.To download results, candidates need to visit the official website ICAI results websiteclick on the May 2026 CA Intermediate Result link, enter their registration number and roll number, and submit the details. The scorecard can then be viewed, downloaded and saved for future reference.
