Season two tells the story of Michael Fassbender’s Martian, whose lover Samia is now a political prisoner in Sudan and who will stop at nothing to save her, walking a fine line between duty, personal loyalty and outright betrayal. This season is richer than the first, with young agents Danny and Owen teaming up with the Martians to play a mysterious figure named Viking, who becomes the season’s most dangerous opponent. Featuring a full cast including Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere, Jodie Turner-Smith and Hugh Bonneville, all 10 episodes were released simultaneously on Paramount+ on June 21, a rare treat for binge watchers.
