The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), has invited applications for various contractual posts approved by the PAB for the period 2026-27. This recruitment drive is open to candidates interested in educational technology, research, electronic content development, media, training, communications and program implementation.The selected candidate will work on temporary contract basis at CIET-NCERT, New Delhi-110016. The participation period will last until March 31, 2027. Qualified applicants must submit their applications through the prescribed application process before 11:00 pm on July 30, 2026.Details of contract positions and participationCIET-NCERT has announced the recruitment of personnel to support different projects approved by the Project Approval Board (PAB). This position is purely temporary and the number of positions may increase or decrease based on project needs.Candidates applying for these positions must ensure that they meet the required educational qualifications and experience standards for the respective positions. Experience related to research, teaching, training, extension activities and electronic content development will be particularly considered in a school education context.The experience requirement for the position for which the applicant claims a comprehensive salary of Rs. 40,000 and above must provide supporting documents at the time of interview. These documents may include certified payslips, bank statements or Income Tax Return (ITR) records for the period claimed as professional experience.Qualification Requirements and Interview GuidelinesCIET-NCERT said candidates must submit accurate details about their qualifications and experience. Time spent studying for a master’s degree. A Ph.D. or Ph.D. degree will not count toward teaching or research experience for qualification purposes.Candidates currently holding temporary or permanent positions must carry a no-objection certificate from their employer. Without proof, applicants will not be allowed to attend the interview.Selected candidates may be required to join as soon as the selection process is completed.
