Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the starrer “Peddi” created a buzz after its release in theaters on June 4. As the film wraps up its run on the big screen, its streaming platform has announced its upcoming release in the digital space.

“Peddi” will begin streaming on streaming giant Netflix. The platform shared the movie’s poster on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: “Aata marocchu kaani, monagadu mathram maradu,” which in English means “The game may change, but the hero/real man remains the same.”The team also announced that the live broadcast will begin on July 9 and will be available to watch in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. They also teased that the film will soon be released in Hindi on the same platform.

Talking about the movie, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team willing to pay him a salary. His life changes after meeting the Appalasuri, who have been trying for years to get the railway stopped and their village to receive official recognition. With his outstanding athletic skills, and under the guidance of Pehelwaani mentor Gournaidu, he grew from a player who just wanted money to a dedicated athlete who was willing to make sacrifices for others.

In India, the net collection from 120,447 shows was Rs 242.03 Cr.On the work front, Ram Charan will next work with Sukumar in a film tentatively titled ‘RC17’. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her next project ‘Lag Jaa Gale’.
