According to People magazine, the veteran legend performed the song for the newlyweds at their wedding at Madison Square Garden. The report also revealed that veteran star Stevie Nicks also performed at the wedding and sent his blessings to the couple. “After the ceremony, Taylor’s mother, Andrea, invited everyone into the reception room where the stage was set up,” a statement read.Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift have been vocal about their love and admiration for each other, even appearing together in a Rolling Stone photo shoot. In a recent interview with BBC Radio, the veteran singer was asked what advice he would give to Swift, who is considered one of the most popular artists in the world right now.He commented, “You do see the similarities, you know fame and the magnitude of fame. Swift and we both have global fame, but I don’t think she needs any advice to tell you the truth.” He also said that if she needed any advice, he would be happy to provide it. “I was like an older brother to that generation, more like a grandfather actually,” McCartney concluded.Not only that, the veteran singer also participated in Taylor Swift’s tour in 2024 when she was on the “ERAS” tour. At the time, the singer was spotted swaying to the music in front of the crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium.
