According to the latest news from India Today, the film has not yet received censorship clearance. Manufacturers are still awaiting the CBFC’s decision and expect the process to be completed next week. The report further states that the rumors about the movie getting an A rating are just speculation. The team hopes to get the certificate and share the release date accordingly.
‘Jana Nayagan’ release boom
Earlier, New Delhi TV reported that the film had received an A-grade certification and had undergone some editing. It was also reported that the final certificate will be issued next week. However, the manufacturer has now denied these claims.According to reports, the team is planning to release “Jana Nayagan” on July 16. If that date is not possible, July 23 is reportedly another option. There is also talk of a July 31 release. However, that date might be difficult as Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut Sigma is also scheduled to be released on the same day.The producers are expected to officially announce the release date once the film gets censor clearance.

Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a political action thriller in which Vijay plays a former police officer. The film also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and Bobby Deol as the main antagonist, with members including Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju and others. The film is reportedly Vijay’s last film before he focuses on his political career.
