Citroen e-C3X Launched in India: Price, Cost, Features Explained

Citroen India has launched the new Citroen e-C3X electric in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is also offering the 2026 eC3X with an optional Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan that brings the purchase price of the vehicle down to Rs 6.29 lakh, while battery usage is charged at Rs 2.26 per km. Interested buyers can book an EV online or by visiting the nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon. The Citroen eC3X gets exterior and interior revisions, along with additional practical features, and now it also gets a longer range. It is offered in three variants – Live, Live (O) and Shine. The electric hatchback competes with the Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet in the Indian market. Talking first about the battery, the 2026 eC3X continues to get a 29.2kWh battery, delivering a claimed MIDC certified driving range of 325km – an improvement of 79km over the previous version. The drive is sent to the front wheels via an electric motor with a power of 57 HP and 143 Nm. The EV can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 107 km/h. The eC3X supports both AC and DC charging options. A full charge from 10 percent to 100 percent takes 10 hours and 30 minutes using the AC charger, while the DC fast charger can boost the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in 57 minutes.

Interior

The 2026 eC3X gets several features and design updates, including LED projector headlamps, new 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels and electrically adjustable collapsible ORVMs. It retains V-shaped LED DRLs, LED taillights, body cladding, wheel arch moldings, halogen fog lights and skid plate-style bumper inserts.The cabin now features a two-tone blue-beige color scheme and leather seat upholstery, while the dashboard layout remains unchanged. New additions include a 7-inch TFT instrument panel, IRVM with auto-dimming, a wireless charger, a dash cam and a six-speaker JBL audio system. A control camera and JBL tuning are available as accessories.Safety features include six airbags on the top variant and four airbags on the lower trims. Existing equipment such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual climate control, rear wipers and a reverse parking camera with sensors have been carried forward.
