Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar’s family has a new reason to celebrate. Her elder daughter Avantika Sundar got married to Shravan Sreenivasan in an intimate ceremony in Goa on Thursday evening. The private event was attended by family members and a close circle of friends from the Indian film industry.Kushboo announced the happy news on social media, sharing the first photos from the wedding along with a touching message saying the family was “speechless” as they watched their daughter begin a new chapter.The wedding photos capture several touching moments from the ceremony. One picture shows Avantika and Shravan holding hands in traditional silk outfits, while another monochrome picture shows the groom kissing the bride’s forehead after the ceremony. Khushbu also posted a family photo with her husband and filmmaker Sundar Cyoung daughter Anandita, the newlyweds and their pets. Avantika chose a pastel pink suit for the ceremony, while Shravan and other members of the family wore coordinating golden outfits.
Khushboo pens emotional message
Sharing the news, Khushboo wrote that the moment was filled with gratitude and overwhelming emotions.“We are truly speechless at this moment as words seem inadequate to express the emotions we are experiencing,” she wrote.The actor added that family has always been the center of their lives and they have always believed that “marriage is a match made in heaven.”Announcing the news of the wedding, she wrote, “With immense joy and gratitude, we Sundar C and Kushboo Sundar are delighted to share the wonderful news of our beloved daughter Ms. Avantika Sundar getting married to Mr. Shravan Sreenivasan on June 25, 2026.”Looking back on the ceremony, she said: “Surrounded by the love of family and close friends, we witnessed a moment that will forever be engraved in our hearts. The warmth, affection and kindness that enveloped us made this moment truly magical. Our eyes are still moist and our hearts are filled with happiness and gratitude.”Kushbu revealed that the wedding was deliberately kept private, in line with the wishes of the couple.“This was a small and intimate celebration, just as the couple envisioned it, and we were honored to be able to fulfill their wishes. Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones shared quietly with the people who matter most,” she wrote, while thanking the team behind the celebration.She concluded her message by introducing the newlyweds to her followers and asking for everyone’s blessing as they begin their journey together.“As Avantika and Shravan begin this beautiful new chapter together, all we seek is your love and best wishes for a life filled with happiness, companionship and countless precious memories. Star-studded guest list
Although the wedding was a private wedding, many celebrities from the entertainment industry attended. Kushboo’s close friend Trisha Krishnan attended the ceremony along with guests from the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industry.Those present included Telugu superstars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna, who were present along with their wives. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor were also present at the celebrations. Khushboo also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and actor-politician Vijay to the wedding. However, the three dignitaries were unable to attend the ceremony.
