Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released a recruitment notification for 389 manager and junior executive posts across various disciplines. The online application process will begin on August 8, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website aai.aero, with the deadline being September 7, 2026.The recruitment drive includes manager vacancies in civil engineering, electrical engineering, finance, information technology, construction, legal, fire protection, operations, commercial, corporate planning and management services and corporate communications. Entry-level administrative positions include areas such as finance, legal, operations, surveys, and graphics.

AAI has announced a total of 389 vacancies, including 260 manager posts and 129 junior administrative posts.The highest number of vacancies is for Manager (Engineering-Civil) with 145 vacancies, followed by Junior Executive (Operations) with 79 vacancies.
AAI Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam date will be announced later on the official website.According to the notice, CBT will consist of objective-type questions and will not have negative marking.Candidates shortlisted for the manager position must also appear for document verification and interview. Applicants for Manager (Fire Services) are also required to undergo physical measurements, driving and physical endurance tests.
Eligibility and age restrictions
As of September 7, 2026, the maximum age limit is 32 years for manager positions and 27 years for junior executive positions. The age limit for reserved category candidates will be relaxed as per government regulations.Candidates applying for manager positions must have the required educational qualifications and three years of relevant post-qualification work experience. Entry-level administrative positions do not require any work experience. Educational qualifications vary by position.
AAI Recruitment 2026: Salary
The salary range for selected candidates for manager posts is Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,80,000 and for junior managers is Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000.According to AAI, the annual cost to company (CTC) is around Rs 21 lakh for corporate managers and Rs 14 lakh for junior managers, along with applicable allowances and other benefits.AAI requires candidates to submit applications only through online mode available on its official website. Persons applying for multiple positions must register separately and pay a separate application fee for each position.
