It remains to be seen whether the look is from a much-talked-about dance sequence that the actress specifically asked Rajamouli to perform. She previously revealed that she asked the director for a dance number and shot a huge, energetic scene with co-star Mahesh Babu.

“Varanasi” is Chopra’s first release in India since 2019’s “The Sky Is Pink,” and she will star opposite Mahesh Babu in the title role of Rudhra. He is also rumored to be essaying the dual role of Lord Rama in the 20-minute segment depicting the epic. But SS Rajamouli is known to take such a long time to make a film. He called me to shoot the film, which is an epic adventure set in time around the world. It took a minute, but I am very excited about it. I have done a lot of amazing action in it, that’s all I can say.”

‘Varanasi’ is Rajamouli’s first original feature film since the global success of ‘RRR’.
