Federal Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineering Services (Main) Exam Result 2026 has been announced. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check the PDF result list on the official website of UPSC.According to the board, 1,340 candidates have qualified for the interview/personality test based on their performance in the Engineering Services (Main) examination held on June 21, 2026.UPSC has clarified that the candidature of all shortlisted candidates is provisional and will be subject to verification of eligibility criteria. Candidates must produce original documents related to age, educational qualification, community, Economically Disadvantaged (EWS) status, baseline disability (if applicable) and other relevant statements during the personality test.

The Commission will soon open a 15-day online window for shortlisted candidates. During this period, candidates will have to log in to the designated UPSC portal, update their details and upload proof of passing the required qualifying examination. Candidates who fail to complete this procedure will not be allowed to take the personality test and their candidacy may be cancelled.In addition to uploading the required documents, candidates can also update their correspondence address, senior qualifications, achievements, employment details, service experience, service assignments and service preferences. UPSC said all shortlisted candidates will have to submit their online application form during this window, even if no changes are required. This is required to produce an electronic subpoena letter.The specific time for the personality test will be announced separately. Once the e-summons are released, candidates will be able to download the e-summons from the UPSC website. The committee will also publish the interview schedule by number. UPSC has stated that it will not entertain requests to change the date or time of the interview.The commission further said that the scores of qualified and unqualified candidates will be uploaded only after the final results are declared after completion of the personality test.
