A woman shared how she increased her annual salary from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 80 lakh within a year after landing a remote job. In a recent Instagram post, Ritu Maurya explained the strategies she said helped her stand out in a competitive job market. Rather than relying solely on traditional job applications, Maurya says she uses a combination of artificial intelligence tools, project building and direct contact with hiring managers. According to her, the purpose was to demonstrate her skills before going for an interview. In the video, Maurya advises job seekers to identify the company they really want to work for and research job descriptions that match their career goals. She noted that the position does not have to be actively advertised, as the goal is to understand what the company is looking for in a candidate. The next step, she said, is to use ChatGPT to analyze job descriptions and generate project ideas that fit the role. Maurya said artificial intelligence tools can help create the concepts and specifications needed to build projects. She then suggested using Emergent.sh, an AI-powered development platform, to turn the idea into a viable project. Maurya said the platform can assist with planning, coding, debugging and deployment, helping users build functional prototypes even if they don’t have extensive technical expertise. However, she emphasized that the first version of the project should not be considered the final product. Instead, users should continue to improve and improve it through multiple rounds of feedback and adjustments until it becomes practical and perfect. Once the project is ready, Maurya recommends sharing it directly with the recruiting manager. She recommends sending a message explaining that the project was created to solve a challenge related to the company or the position being sought. She also recommends posting a short video walkthrough of the project on LinkedIn and pinning it at the top of your profile so recruiters can easily view the work. Maurya says this approach allows candidates to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving and relevant skills in a way that goes beyond a standard resume. Her post highlights how artificial intelligence tools and personalized projects are increasingly being used by professionals seeking remote opportunities and career advancement.
