Instead, Malhotra revealed that plans to release the trailer globally on Thursday morning have now been postponed.The producer wrote on his social media: “Today is a very special moment for us Ramayana. my dream is to take Ramayana Through a partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, launch to the world is now a reality. “He continued: “In light of the above, we will launch our trailer globally at a later date.”Highlighting the film’s global ambitions, Malhotra added: “This will go down as a proud moment in the more than 100-year history of Indian cinema. Ramayana will be shown to the world like any major global Hollywood film. This is special because it opens the door for people from around the world to discover our rich culture and our stories with new pride and enthusiasm. “While Malhotra didn’t specify the reason for delaying the trailer’s release, his statement came against the backdrop of global attention on student protests in India, leading many to speculate that the decision was made amid tensions.
