The countdown to the official trailer, which will debut online on July 24, is already underway, and fans are busy transforming the film’s concept art into an impressive first look.After a grand event held in New Delhi on Saturday, the makers launched a special comic book that delves into the mythical world of the film. The picture book showcases detailed concept art of key characters, kingdoms, and locations, giving fans a closer look at this ambitious adaptation. Soon after the images from the comics appeared online, social media users began using artificial intelligence image generation tools to transform the illustrations into real-life descriptions.One of the most widely known recreations is Sai Pallavi’s Sita, whose caricature has been transformed into a regal life-style portrait with elaborate jewelry and traditional clothing. One saw her in a red saree with gold accents, while another saw her in a saffron saree with a razor blade in her hand.Fans have also recreated Yash’s Ravana, depicting the demon king as a battle-hardened warrior clad in exquisite royal armour. These images in turn served as the first looks for the characters, especially after the makers only glimpsed them in the “Rama First Look” clip.Other AI-generated images include Kunal Kapoor’s Lord Indra in silver armor fighting alongside Airavata, and Faisal Malik’s Kumbhakarna.The comic released during the film’s promotions also gives readers a detailed introduction to the kingdoms of Ayodhya, Mithila and Lanka, while also showcasing character illustrations along with brief biographical and mythological backgrounds.Featured characters include Ranbir Kapoor Starring as Lord Ram, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Adinath Kothare as Bharat, Nitish Sharma as Shatrughan, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra, Shobana as Kaikesi, Chetan Hansraj as Sumali, Anupam Kher as Jatayu, Kajal Aggarwal as Queen Mandod, Faizah as Agaak and Rakul Preet Singh as Supanakar.The book also features works of art from the Hindu trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—as well as detailed illustrations of majestic holy cities, majestic buildings, royal courts, and impressive cityscapes.While these images aren’t official material, fans can expect to see something similar when the first trailer hits the web later this week following the film’s grand premiere at San Diego Comic-Con. Director Nitesh Tiwari along with Ranbir, Yash and producer Naimt Malhotra are expected to attend the grand event in the US, after which the trailer will be released online.The makers have prepared two trailers for release. The CBFC granted “U” certification to 4-minute clips and 4.15-minute clips.
