Chopra told People magazine, “I always want to be true to myself in everything I do, but keeping people’s attention is a very hard job, and you can only do that through evolution,” Chopra said.Talking about the bumps along the way, she said: “I may make mistakes, I’m human and I can’t do everything right. [When I started my career]I have always been pursuing perfection. But over time, I realized the emotional connection [to fans] From saying “I made a mistake”… I think it’s okay. Emotional connection with the audience comes from being able to accept that I’m doing my best. “

Chopra also admits that rejection often fueled her determination to make it big in the film industry. “I’m very ambitious, and if I had said no, I would have wanted to do it more,” she said. “I hear this from a lot of my female colleagues: when you want to move forward, the entertainment industry puts a glass ceiling for most women and you just have to do it yourself,” she added.

Priyanka also shared her reasons for taking the plunge into production and starring in films she supports. “When I came to America, I wanted more work that would put me in leading roles, let me do parts that I thought a lot of studios couldn’t imagine an Indian actor doing,” she said. “So I started making my own films.”The actress also reflected on her own struggles and shared her motivations for starting a production company. She revealed, “When I got into the film industry, I didn’t know anyone… When new people came into film and television, that was my sweet spot. I wanted to be a shoulder for artists and creators to jump off of as a production company because I created a platform and I know how hard that is.”

After wrapping up work in ‘Varanasi’, Priyanka will turn her attention to her next, ‘Reset’, in which she will also be seen playing the lead role orlando bloom. The film, which is said to be a survival thriller, is expected to be released in August.
