Broadcaster: Doordarshan has good news for: Lord Ram Devotees. Doordarshan has announced that it will air morning prayers dedicated to: Ram Lalla image at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya every day.
Doordarshan shared the same on X’s website, formerly Twitter. Doordarshan said that morning aarti dedicated to Ram Lalla will be aired on DD National every morning from 6:30 am. The national broadcaster said that the decision to telecast the morning aarti live every day was taken with the aim of connecting the devotees of Lord Ram, especially since the temple was opened less than two months ago on a grand occasion and everyone cannot visit the temple individually. The aarti will be telecast simultaneously on DD’s YouTube channel.
Secondly, the decision was taken because the Trust does not have the operational procedures as it currently stands to broadcast. Therefore, DD will send a team of two-three people to the temple premises to explain the daily ritual.
DD’s announcement to telecast Aarti live for 30 minutes every morning comes after receiving a lot of pushback. Company proposal Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the same reason. Initially, DD will broadcast “Mangala aarti” for a few months, and then, Ram Temple Trust will take a call on how to proceed.
6 Aartis every day at Ayodhya Ram temple
There are 6 aartis of Ram Lalla performed daily in Ayodhya Ram temple. These include Mangala Aarti at 4:30 am, Shringaar Aarti at 6:30 am, Rajbhog Aarti at 12 noon, Utthapan Aarti at 2 pm, Sandhya Aarti at 7 pm, and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm.
Giving instructions to Aarti devotees, the temple trust said, “Entry to Mangala Aarti at 4 AM, Shringar Aarti at 6:15 AM, and Shayan Aarti at 10 PM is possible only with an entry pass.
Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust advice for devotees
Advising the people who come for darshan at the temple, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra said, “Devotees can enter Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir for Darshan from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The entire process from the entrance to exit Darshan at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and devotees is easy and simple. Smooth darshan of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar within 60 to 75 minutes.”
The temple trust has advised the devotees to leave their phones, shoes, bags and other belongings outside the Mandir premises for their convenience and to save time.
It has also asked the devotees not to bring flowers, garlands, Prasad to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
