The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to Karnataka Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses 2026-27. Candidates who are yet to register for UGCET-2026 can now apply through the UGNEET-2026 new registration link provided on the KEA portal.The application center will be open from 2:00 pm on July 17, 2026 to 11:00 am on July 24, 2026. Candidates must complete registration, submit application and pay required fees to be eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses.New registration facility for candidates who missed CET registrationKEA said candidates who have registered for CET-2026 will soon receive a link on the KEA website to add their NEET roll number to their existing CET application. Such candidates do not need to submit new registration.The authority has clarified that no re-registration will be allowed after the regular seat allotment deadline. However, new registrations will be allowed in sporadic vacancy rounds and the timetable for this process will be announced at a later date.Publish eligibility and document verification detailsAfter the UGNEET-2026 re-examination results are announced, the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the competent authority will be applicable for admission to medical, dental and AYUSH courses. KEA also said that SC, ST and OBC eligibility criteria are applicable only to Karnataka SC, ST and OBC candidates.The categories of candidates who need to participate in material review will be notified separately. KEA recommends applicants to read the UGNEET-2026 Information Bulletin before applying to understand the eligibility conditions, seat classifications and requirements for applying for different categories of seats.Instructions for non-Karnataka candidatesNon-Karnataka candidates must register on the KEA portal, provide details and pay the registration fee. They will also have to enter class 12 mark details and upload the mark card in PDF format through the mark entry portal. Such candidates are not required to be present for document verification.OCI, PIO, NRI and foreign candidates, as well as eligible non-Karnataka candidates seeking seats from NRI constituencies, religious minorities or designated St. John’s Medical College, must book seats at KEA, Bengaluru on the scheduled date and appear for document verification.KEA informed candidates that all UGNEET-2026 counseling rounds (including odd vacancy rounds) will be conducted online by KEA as per the instructions of NMC and AYUSH department.
