Country singer Jon Pardee just shared a big life update with his fans. The singer announced on his social media account that he and his partner Summer have chosen to separate after five years of marriage.
Jon Pardi Revealed that he wanted a divorce
The famous singer shared a post on Instagram announcing the news, revealing that the couple decided to go their separate ways after five years of marriage. He uploaded a joint post with Summer, writing: “After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughter will always be our top priority and we are committed to moving forward as co-parents with love and respect.”Pardi and Summer have two daughters, Presley Fawn, 3, and Sienna Grace, 2. They also thanked everyone for their understanding and support on this matter. Not only that, the singer also posted another update on his account, stating that he was taking a break from social media and work in order to deal with everything going on with his family.He concluded by adding, “Thank you all for the love and support. My team will be handling the launch for the time being. See you at the show.” The couple did not share any other updates about their split, nor did they elaborate on why they chose to go their separate ways after five years.Jon is currently on his “Honkytonk Hollywood” tour.

The couple first met in 2017 when Ellen Moxley set them up on a blind date. In an old interview with People , Summer said that from the beginning, she felt like Jon was the one for her. She commented, “Within the first five minutes of meeting Jon, it was game over for me. I texted my mom, ‘Sell my house, sell my car, give me my dog.'” Two years later, Jon proposed to Summer while performing in Nashville on the Heartache Medicine Tour. They got married a year later.
