Sachana’s tough road to success
Sachana also spoke about her difficult journey to the National Awards stage. “My father was a car driver and my mother was a seamstress. I studied in a public school and we came from a middle-class family. Sometimes we didn’t even have money to pay for school fees. My sister and I studied on scholarships,” she recalls. The actress has revealed many times that even raising Rs 500 is a struggle for the family. “Even in those hard days, my parents gave us everything they could. They never stopped believing in me,” she said.
Sachana’s years of hard work finally paid off
Looking back on her journey, Sachana said her family visited countless production houses in search of even a small opportunity. “Since 2018, we have been bouncing from one production company to another hoping someone would give me a chance to act. Every rejection taught me something. Today, this National Award feels like a reward for all these years of struggle and hard work,” she shared.
