Gujarat HSC Science Supplementary Result 2026: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar has announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Science Stream Supplementary Examination 2026 with an overall pass percentage of 27.36%. The supplementary examination provides another opportunity for students who failed to pass the February-March 2026 board examination to obtain a high school certificate.Board data shows that a total of 18,549 candidates registered for the exam and a total of 16,120 students appeared for the exam. Among them, 4,411 candidates successfully obtained HSC certificates.

Thousands of students in Gujarat have appeared for supplementary exams in the hope of improving their scores.
Group A performed better than Group B
Among the three science groups, Group A performed the strongest, with a passing rate of 32.29%, significantly ahead of Group B’s 25.85%. Group AB has the lowest success rate at 14.29%, although the number of candidates in this category is still small.
Girls outperform boys in major genres
Gender analysis shows that in both Group A and Group B, the passing rate of girls is higher than that of boys. The passing rate of girls in Group A was 35.46%, exceeding that of boys at 31.39%. Similarly, in group B, girls scored 28.50% while boys scored 22.42%.There was a very limited number of entries in the AB category with two boys qualifying and all four girls in this category failing.
