Dr Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has started the admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2026-27, opening applications for students seeking admission to its humanities and social sciences programmes.The university, established by the Delhi government, will admit students into 23 undergraduate courses with an enrollment of 1,194 students. Admission to three-year and four-year undergraduate courses will be done on the basis of CUET UG 2026 scores as per NEP 2020 guidelines.The university has asked candidates to complete registration through its CUET UG admissions portal and thoroughly verify the eligibility criteria for a particular course before submitting their application.

University authorities have urged applicants to avoid waiting until the last date for registration, warning that last-minute technical issues could disrupt the application process.Students are also advised to carefully review the admission guidelines, booking specifications, fee details and schedule of important dates before completing the application process. The university said applicants should monitor the official website regularly for any admission-related announcements or changes.
five New undergraduate courses introduce
The academic session 2026-27 will see a significant expansion of the university’s academic portfolio with the introduction of at least five new undergraduate programmes.Major additions include a bachelor’s degree program in museology, culture and heritage management, which university officials say is one of the first of its kind at the university level in India. The university also offers a bachelor’s degree program in visual arts as part of its efforts to diversify its academic offerings.
Mathematics curriculum restructuring with focus on artificial intelligence and data science
Australian universities have also revised their mathematics courses, replacing the existing bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.The revised curriculum will include minors in data science and artificial intelligence, reflecting a growing emphasis on interdisciplinary education and emerging technologies, officials said.Curriculum reforms aim to provide students with a foundation in mathematics as well as industry-relevant technical skills.
PGCF to launch new postgraduate courses
The university is also expanding its postgraduate programs under the Postgraduate Program Framework (PGCF). One-year graduate courses in seven disciplines will be offered, according to university officials.Newly launched postgraduate courses include an MA in Creative Writing and an MA in Performing Arts (Theatrical Arts), providing expanded opportunities for students interested in creative and performance subjects.
CUET University Result 2026 Facilitate the admissions process
The admission exercise comes after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET UG 2026 results on June 23.In the exam, only one candidate achieved a perfect score of 100 in 4 of the 5 subjects selected. Data released by the agency showed that 22 candidates achieved 100 points in three subjects and 180 candidates achieved the highest score in two subjects. Another 3,214 candidates scored 100 points in a subject.
More than 1.16 million candidates appeared in CUET UG
More than 11.64 lakh candidates participated in CUET UG 2026 across the country. Women accounted for nearly half of the total registrations, with 7,74,607 female candidates applying for the exam as against 7,94,257 male candidates. However, during the examination period, women participated more than men, with 5,85,596 women appearing for the exam as against 5,78,500 men.Three candidates were registered under the third gender category and two of them appeared for the examination. As the CUET UG admission cycle begins, Ambedkar University Delhi has expanded its course list and revised its curriculum, expected to offer wider academic options to students in the 2026-27 admission season.
