A nine-year-old cricketer from England achieved a rare feat by taking six wickets in six balls in a local match, leaving his teammates, family and coaches to celebrate his achievement.Rohan, who plays for Greater Shelford Cricket Club’s under-nine side near Cambridge, scored two hat-tricks against Histon on Sunday, the BBC reported.The young bowler dismissed six batsmen in six consecutive deliveries and ended up with 0 for six. His spell helped Great Shelford to a 26-point victory.Rohan said the celebrations after his last wicket were memorable.“It was very loud,” he said, recalling how everyone cheered and ran onto the field after the last wicket, according to the BBC.For his performance, Rohan was awarded the match ball and named Man of the Match. The youngster said he had been playing cricket for the school team and for Great Shelford.Talking about taking six wickets in six balls, he added: “It doesn’t happen very often.”His father Narain said seeing his son achieve the feat on Father’s Day made the moment even more special.“For someone so young to get a wicket is a great achievement, but taking wickets one after another makes me very proud,” Narain told the BBC.Vishal Gupta, the team’s coach and match referee, said he had a perfect idea of the spell.“I have the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took off my referee’s hat and threw him in the air with his players. Everyone was clapping.”
