Chidambaram’s Balan: The Boy has done well at the box office in its opening weekend, entering its first weekday at the box office. However, like many recent releases, collections dropped significantly on Monday as weekday trends took effect.

Collection volume dropped by 60.3% on the 4th day

According to Saknielke, Balan: The Boy earned a net revenue of Rs 115 crore in India on its fourth day. The latest figure was down 60.3% from Sunday’s net income of Rs 2.9 billion. The film played in 1,143 screenings on Monday.The Malayalam version cost Rs 112 crore and has an occupancy rate of 27%. The Tamil version contributed Rs 1 lakh and had an occupancy rate of 10%, while the Telugu version added Rs 2 lakh and had an occupancy rate of 17%.

Attendance remains high during evening performances

On Monday, the film’s overall Malayalam occupancy rate was 24.17%. The occupancy rate for the morning show was 9.67%. The ratings of the afternoon program increased to 20.58%. The evening performance further climbed to 25.17%, and the night performance hit the highest attendance rate of the day, reaching 32.58%.Four days after its release, the cumulative net revenue of “Balaan: The Boy” in India has reached 8.22 billion rupees. The film has currently collected Rs 953 crore at the box office in India.The international market played a major role in the overall performance of the film. On the fourth day of its release, the overseas box office of the film reached 70 lakhs.This brings its total overseas revenue to Rs 800 crore. The total global collection has now reached Rs 175.3 crore.Kerala remained the film’s largest market on the fourth day with a box office collection of Rs 110 crore. Karnataka has seen an increase of Rs 12 lakh and Tamil Nadu has seen an increase of Rs 5 lakh. There was an increase of Rs 3 lakh in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Rs 2 lakh in the rest of India.ETimes awarded the film three stars, noting: “While the film has its tense moments, the emotion remains surprisingly calm. Particularly in the climax, and while the ending is entertaining, the lack of a stronger emotional buildup keeps it from reaching its full potential.
