They won all six white-ball matches on their Caribbean tour earlier this year. They also defeated the West Indies in a warm-up match before this World Cup.

In the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup, they reached the semi-finals with an unbeaten record, but were eliminated by South Africa. Last year, they were also eliminated in the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup after India completed their record chase.

The West Indies endured a dramatic semi-final journey.

For West Indies to beat Australia, the senior trio may have to put in a stellar performance.
