India’s under-19 team’s two openers – captain Yashbardhan Chauhan (6) and Sagar Virk (4) – both lost the match and the score was 11 in the fourth over before Kushagra Ojha (38, 45b, 6×4) and VK Vineeth (24 off 45 balls) scored 67 for the third wicket to get the game back on track. Anvay, who is at number five, brought some much-needed impetus to the India U-19 team with his three-wicket haul of 78 in the 17th over, with a batting average of 129.85 and a half-century off 47 balls.Sri Lanka Under-19 left-arm seamer Gimhan Mendis took 5 for 41 in 8.2 overs. Anvay scored 14 runs off 19 balls in the first Youth ODI at the same venue as India Under-19 team registered a four-wicket win of 321 runs against the hosts. Incidentally, Anvay’s elder brother Samit Dravid performed well with bat and ball in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 match on Sunday.
