Antoinette Bower was born in Baden-Baden, Germany in 1932 to a German mother and an English father. She began her career in the late 1940s as a field language supervisor and welfare counselor helping people affected by World War II. After immigrating to Canada with her family in 1953, she began working in the public affairs department of the Broadcasting Corporation. During her tenure, she also wrote scripts and conducted live television interviews.In 1956, she had some of her first roles in supporting roles in two television series. These include “The Tell-Tale Heart” (1958) and “Hudson’s Bay” (1959). From the 1960s to the 1980s, Ball became a household name for his soundtrack roles on some of the biggest shows of the era. These include her role as the shape-shifting alien Sylvia in “Star Wars” and Eva Noda in “The Twilight Zone.”Over the years, she honed her acting skills and participated in about 100 acting projects. They also include Kojak, Columbo, Perry Mason, The Fugitive, Hawaii Five-O and Murder, She Wrote. She also guest-starred on Neon Riders for about three seasons.On the big screen, she starred in the 1972 Filipino horror film Super Beast.
