Anupam Kher confirmed to be the voice of Jatayu
According to a post on Instagram by Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, Kher has dubbed for the character of Jatayu in the film. “Veteran actor Anupam Kher has been confirmed as the voice of Jatayu in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The news ends months of speculation that Amitabh Bachchan would star in the titular character’s battle with Ravana in rescuing Sita. The battle is expected to be one of the most emotionally intense sequences in the film. Director Nitesh Tiwari reportedly highlighted this scene as an important cinematic moment and Anupam Kher’s voice will bring this revered character to life on screen,” the post read.
