Just a few days ago, Variety India reported that the film’s trailer will be released in India a week ahead of schedule, on July 18 at a grand event in Delhi. However, now according to the latest news, the global trailer of the film is online Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi Starrer has scheduled the film’s launch in time for the upcoming 2026 San Diego Comic-Con, where producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari and the stars are scheduled to participate in an exclusive panel.The official schedule for Comic-Con 2026 shows that “Ramayana” will be released on July 23 (July 24 IST). The demo is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. in Ballroom 20, San Diego Comic-Con’s second-largest venue, which can accommodate approximately 4,800 attendees. The venue is just behind the conference’s iconic Hall H, which is traditionally reserved for some of the event’s largest studio presentations.

Ramayana cast and release date

The two-part film, adapted from an ancient Indian epic, not only boasts a star-studded cast but also has a budget reportedly exceeding Rs 4,000 crore.Ramayana will star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra, as the pivotal Anal Indra. The key roles include Kothare, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha and Arun Govil.“Ramayana: Part 1” is scheduled to release in theaters during Diwali 2026, while “Ramayana: Part 2” is slated to release during Diwali 2027.
