Telugu filmmaker Nandini Reddy, who recently directed Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Maa Inti Banggram, shares her thoughts on Diljit Dosanjh Starring in “Satluj”. The film was in the news recently after it was released on OTT and was pulled from the platform within two days. The director recently said that he would abandon the last 30 minutes of the film.Sharing her thoughts on Instagram Stories, Nandini Reddy wrote: “Started watching this amazing movie…stopped and took a break before the last 30 minutes and watched it the next day as I was so traumatized by it…I wish I could finish it.”

She said movies should have the freedom to tell difficult truths, even if they are painful to watch. The post read: “Watch this movie as soon as you can. This is undoubtedly one of the greatest films of the modern era. The performances by Diljit Dosanjh and the entire cast will blow your mind. “Satluj” tells the story of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film tells the story of his struggle after he exposed police brutality and the killings and illegal cremations of some 25,000 people.After the removal, the streaming platform released a statement but did not explain the reasons behind the decision. “In view of the current developments, ‘Satluj’ will be released in India until further notice. We remain committed to exploring all appropriate avenues through due process to bring the film back to audiences at the earliest,” the company said.
