Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has delighted Malayalam film lovers by paying a heartfelt tribute to veteran actress Urvashi. The actor recreated the iconic ‘Kadukuvara’ scene from the 2005 Malayalam drama ‘Achuvinte Amma’.The Instagram video has since gone viral on social media. The video received more than 495,000 likes within a day of being posted. Celebrities and fans took to the comments section to express their appreciation for Vidya for recreating the memorable scene.

Vidya Balan recreates iconic comedy moment

The ‘Urumi’ actor shared the video on Instagram, recreating the famous cooking scene where Urvashi’s character explains the recipe to Meera Jasmine in broken English.Sharing the video, she wrote, “A scene with one of my favorite actors, Urvashi Chechi. Chechi Kshamikkanam (“Please forgive my sister”).

The family drama stars Urvashi, Meera Jasmine and Narain and has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja.The film marks Urvashi’s return to the Malayalam film industry after a gap of six years.
