Asked to bat first, the Seattle Orcas got off to a solid start with a great batting performance from Shimron Hetmyer. The West Indies batsman set the Auckland Stadium on fire with 79 off 33 balls, hitting nine sixes and two fours to put immense pressure on the free bowlers.He was well supported by captain Marcus Stoinis, who blasted 42 runs in just 16 deliveries, including six sixes, while opener Tim Seifert set the stage with a comfortable 37 off 20 balls. While Marco Jansen impressed with 3/33, Seattle posted 227/6, leaving Washington Liberty in trouble.The response never gained momentum as Jasdeep Singh unleashed a devastating spell with the new ball.
