Fresh from winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Spanish national football team returns home to a hero’s welcome and celebrations will take place in the streets of Madrid. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) confirmed on Monday that the World Cup-winning squad had arrived in the Spanish capital, with players sharing their excitement with supporters to celebrate the historic achievement.In a post on X, the team wrote:“Yes, yes, yes! The World Cup is finally here. The Spanish team has arrived in Madrid… We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!”To mark the occasion, Spain has announced that it will hold a public victory celebration titled “The World Turns Around” on July 20 at the Cibeles Communications Palace in Madrid. The festivities are scheduled to start at 6:00 pm local time, and supporters are free to attend until the venue reaches capacity.
