If God has planned it, everything will happen,” he said, according to News 18. He also recalled how “Kushi” came together in the first place. “When I told Vijay the story, he didn’t react much. I thought he didn’t like the story and even asked me if he should tell me another story. But he just said, ‘No, that’s fine. Let’s do this. I was surprised because he expressed his approval so casually,” the director shared.

SJ Suryah also reflected on what makes “Kushi” special. “The core idea of ’Kushi’ and the way the story is narrated are different. Deva’s music played a huge role in the success of the film. The tune of ‘Kattipudi Kattipudi’ was inspired by the song ‘Senthamizh then Mozhiyal’. If you sing faster, you will notice the similarities,” he explains. His comments gave fans a nostalgic look back at the making of the blockbuster, which remains one of the biggest milestones in Vijay and Jythika’s career.
