Sunny Deol says he still has a long way to go

Ramayana means so much to Indians, he said, which makes playing one of India’s most beloved characters a bigger responsibility than a regular film role. He also thanked the makers for choosing him to play the role, saying, “I am grateful for the opportunity to play Hanumanji. I will try my best to portray him in the right way.”Del makes it clear that the role is no simple one. He points out that Hanuman cannot be defined solely in terms of physical strength. The character embodies seemingly contradictory qualities: great strength balanced by humility, bravery balanced by innocence, strength balanced by deep devotion. “Playing Hanumanji is not easy,” Sunny said. “But I knew I would really enjoy it. He’s playful, innocent and powerful. He is loved by all and most importantly, he is a devotee of Lord Ram. “
