Director Nitesh Tiwari’s epic masterpieceRamayana” is about to have a major international showcase, with producers officially announcing that the film will be screening at San Diego Comic-Con. A day after reports emerged that the makers are planning a grand trailer launch in Delhi on July 18, the official line-up for SDCC was announced on Thursday.According to the listing, Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash is all set to release on July 23, 2026. Producer Namit Malhotra is expected to unveil the trailer of the film to the international audience along with the film’s lead actor and director Tiwari.

The presentation is scheduled for July 23 at 3:15 pm in Ballroom 20, the second-largest venue at San Diego Comic-Con, with a reported capacity of approximately 4,800 attendees. The venue is just behind the conference’s iconic Hall H, which is traditionally reserved for some of the event’s largest studio presentations.According to reports, this makes “Ramayana” the second Indian film after “Kalki 2898 AD” to get a major showcase at San Diego Comic-Con.The Comic-Con appearance is expected to be a major part of the film’s international marketing campaign, with the team reportedly planning a major reveal to a global audience. Rumor has it that the makers will also have some exclusive content available for those attending the event.

However, before heading to the US, Ranbir, Yash, director Tiwari and producer Malhotra will officially launch the first trailer in India. It is reported that the trailer will be released at a grand event at Bharat Mandapam on July 18, marking the beginning of a comprehensive promotional campaign for the film.Ramayana cast and release dateAccording to Variety India, the New Delhi release will offer audiences the most comprehensive adaptation yet, starring Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakkar and Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra.
