India all-rounder Axar Patel will achieve another major milestone when he becomes the 31st Indian cricketer to play 100 T20 internationals when he takes the field in the fourth T20I against England. The milestone happened just two games after Axar took his 100th T20I wicket, underlining his continued impact as one of India’s most reliable white-ball all-rounders over the past decade.Looking back on his journey from making his T20I debut in 2015 to reaching the 100-match milestone, Ahal admitted that he never imagined he would represent India so many times.“When I played my first T20I, I never thought I would play 100 games. This tour of England is very special for me because I took my 100th T20I wicket in the second game and now I will take my 100th T20I wicket in the fourth game. It was a very special moment and I really enjoyed it,” Aksa said in the video shared by BCCI.The left-arm spin bowling all-rounder also thanked his teammates, coaches and family for helping him achieve this milestone.“It feels really good. Whenever you reach a milestone, it’s not just about you. My teammates, coaches and family all played a role in this journey.”Ahal also recalled his emotions on making his debut in India and how representing the national team remains the ultimate dream of every cricketer.“It’s a completely different feeling when you make your debut. At that time, you don’t know how much you’re going to achieve in your career. Now, I’m about to play my 100th game and it’s a feeling that can’t be expressed. Even playing one match for India is a dream come true. “
