Triumph hikes prices of 350cc bikes again: Check prices of new models

Triumph Motorcycles has increased the prices of its 350cc motorcycle range in India for the second time since the updated models were launched earlier this year. The latest revision affects the entire line, with the Speed T4 witnessing the biggest increase. After the latest price hike, the Triumph Speed T4 is now priced at Rs 2,08,971 after becoming more expensive by Rs 10,000. The Speed 400 is now priced at Rs 2,39,877. The Scrambler 400X and Scrambler 400 XC are now priced at Rs 2,64,978 and Rs 2,99,333, respectively. The Tracker 400 has also received a revised price and is now priced at Rs 2,49,253, while the Thruxton 400 is now available at Rs 2,75,335.Triumph introduced updated 350cc versions of these bikes in April this year. At the time, the downsized engine helped some models benefit from the lower GST, resulting in a price cut of up to Rs 11,000, especially on the Scrambler 400 and Thruxton 400. However, with two consecutive price revisions since then, the bikes have become more expensive.Mechanically, there are no changes to the bikes. They are still powered by Triumph’s new 350cc engine platform, although power varies across the range. The Speed T4 develops 29 hp and 31 Nm of torque, compared to the earlier 398.15 cc version’s 31 hp and 36 Nm. The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 XC produce 37 PS and 32 Nm, up from the previous figures of 40 PS and 37.5 Nm. Meanwhile, the range-topping Thruxton 400 generates 40 PS and 32 Nm, the same output as the recently launched Tracker 400.
