Renault India has just launched the 2026 Renault hatchback in the Indian market. The new Kwid gets a revised range of variants, exterior and interior design updates, additional features and more. Interested buyers can reserve a car online or by visiting the nearest dealership. Deliveries will begin shortly. The updated hatchback is now offered in two variants – Evolution and Climber – with manual and AMT transmissions. The 2026 Kwid gets a handful of styling updates, including a new 3D Renault logo, redesigned two-tone 14-inch steel wheel covers and a silver Kwid badge with a revised font on the tailgate. Apart from these changes, the hatchback’s exterior remains unchanged, retaining the eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, halogen headlamps, front and rear bumpers and halogen tail lamps. Its dimensions are also unchanged.The 2026 Renault Kwid is still powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 69 PS and 92.5 Nm. The engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. In this article, let’s take a quick look at the features and pricing of the variants. Climber Rs 5.14 lakh (MT)Rs 5.60 lakh (AMT)(Both prices without showroom)Next comes the Climber, which has features like two-tone wheel covers, two-tone body insert, chrome interior trim, power ORVM, all four power windows, steering wheel controls, quick USB charger, fake front and rear skid plates, Climber branding on the C-pillars, door trims, IRVM day/night camera, and more. Talking about the powertrain, the 2026 Renault Kwid is still powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 69 PS and 92.5 Nm. The engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.Renault also offers a retrofitted CNG kit for the manual variants at an additional cost of Rs 70,450. The kit will be installed at authorized Renault workshops and is covered by a standard warranty of three years or 1 lakh km, whichever comes first.
