New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA Foundation Examination held in May 2026. The association also publishes exam statistics, including overall pass rates, gender performance and details of successful candidates.Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results and marks by entering their registration number and roll number through the ICAI official result portal. The college also published an analysis of the exam results and announced the names of the top three.More than 18,000 candidates are eligibleAccording to data released by ICAI, a total of 90,217 candidates took part in the CA Basic Examination held in May 2026. Of these, 18,124 candidates have been declared successful, with an overall pass rate of 20.09%.Among male candidates, 46,798 applied, 9,769 passed, and the passing rate was 20.88%.

Of the female candidates, 43,419 took the exam and 8,355 passed. The pass rate for female candidates was 19.24%.ICAI also said that a total of 1,06,144 candidates have been admitted to appear for the May 2026 fundamental examination. He noted that the path forward will present challenges while also providing opportunities for learning, professional development and achieving long-term goals.
